The initiative was of great importance because it strengthened the work of promotion and defense of human rights and especially the sexual and reproductive rights of young women that AMA has been promoting for the past three years, as it gave continuity to the process of transferring skills and strengthening the leadership attitudes of young volunteers, also allowed to consolidate the articulation of multisectoral efforts and the association as a reference that young women are capable of generating proposals and promote and lead substantial changes in society.

During the camps, two working groups were formed; each group was in charge of two trainers, who were responsible for developing one module per camp and following up with the group in their charge. They worked with the same methodology, which was based on that established within the P.A.C.E. program, the trainers are those who have participated in the training process of trainers and the pedagogical proposal of the P.A.C.E. in Managua, Nicaragua.
